And the wait is over! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has finally made her Instagram debut. The actress’s bio reads -- Miles to go before I sleep.
With the page just being formed, Aishwarya has over 2,000 followers and they are increasing by the minute. Although she has not posted it picture yet, it is said that she might begin doing so once she lands in Cannes and begins media interactions.
The actress is all set to walk the red carpet at Cannes on May 12 and 13. This will be Aishwarya's 18th year at the film festival, where she will represent cosmetics giant L'Oreal. Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor will also attend the film fest and walk the red carpet on separate days.
Talking about her decision to finally join Instagram, a source close to the actress had revealed that Aishwarya has a huge fan base on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Her fans have been waiting for their beauty queen to be on social media since ages now. It’s due to constant request from her well –wishers, admirers, fan – followers from all around the globe that she opted to have an official handle on Instagram to keep her fans abreast of her life, projects, etc.
